Sage and the Grinch

Our town held their yearly Christmas festival this afternoon. There were local vendors, music, carriage rides and bon fires. The line for Santa was about half a million children long but the line to see the Grinch and the Cat in the Hat only had about 15 people in it.
I think the Grinch is way cooler than Santa anyway.
And since Sage is typically terrified of these types of things we figured the shorter line was the best bet.
She was very happy going into it. She even waved at the Grinch and the Cat in the Hat once or twice.
Then it was our turn.
And she like to came unglued.
She wouldn't even let me hold her on the side of my body that the Grinch and the Cat were on. I'm suprised the photo looks as good as it does....
